The City of Tampa is currently accepting employment applications for the above classes of work. Applications must be received or postmarked by the designated closing date. Applications received or postmarked after the closing date will not be processed. Drug Testing is included in all pre-employment medical examinations.If the job for which you are applying indicates a testing requirement with walk-in testing hours, your application will not be processed until you take the test.  Unless specified otherwise, testing is conducted at City Hall (315 East Kennedy Blvd), during the hours posted in the job description.  You may call Employment Services at 813/274-8911 to verify that you qualify to take the test.MyTampaGov members have an online record of every job for which they have applied, and may save and reuse applications.
