Demographics/Audience: LEOAFFAIRS.COM™ is one of the largest Law Enforcement websites in existence, generating millions of hits per month. We are also the largest Law Enforcement Message Board / Blog site on the planet. We have approximately 400 agency message boards online in 11 different countries. Our success is fueled by the fact that we encourage access and participation between Law Enforcement, the Media and the Public. The demographics of our audience include Mayors, City Managers, County Commissioners, City Councilmen, Sheriffs, Police Chiefs, Command Staff, Law Enforcement Officers, Media Personnel and the General Public.
Forms of Advertising: Our advertising opportunities consist of Multi-Media Ads, Banner Ads and Text Ads in various areas of our site. The most popular of these are Banner Ads. Multi-Media Ads can be found in the 550x425 customizable ad space on our main National Page and Community Pages. A wide range of Banner Ads can be found on our Message Boards, National Pages and Community Pages. Text Ads are available in ALL of our Areas of Advertising and can be used in lieu of Banner Ads..
Areas of Advertising: Our areas of advertising are 1) Message Boards, 2) National Pages, 3) Community Pages and 4) Specialized Sections. Roughly 70% of our hits are generated in the Message Boards while 25% come from our National Pages. The remainder comes from our Community Pages and Specialized Sections.
Conditions: Our rates are based upon a 3 to 12 month agreement. This means you must sign an agreement for a minimum of 3 months, but not longer than 12 months, in order to advertise on LEOAFFAIRS.COM™. You are guaranteed (and locked in at) our current rate at the time you return a signed agreement for the duration of the term (up to 12 months). Your payment options include PrePay, Quarterly and Semi-Annually. Although we do not invoice monthly, we will set up a monthly payment system through PayPal for the term of your agreement if requested (the first 3 month's fees must be paid in advance).
Rates:
Message Boards: This is the hottest area of our site, generating 70% of our traffic. Agency Message Boards mature and devolop over a period of time. As a result, we've found it best to classify them into the following 3 main categories:
1) Low Traffic (LT) - less than 1,000 posts
2) Average Traffic (AT) - between 1,000 and 9,999 posts
3) High Traffic (HT) - over 10,000 posts
Message Boards with Average Traffic are considered the norm. Comparable pricing for a Low Traffic Message Board will be 50% less while comparable pricing for a High Traffic Message Board will be 100% more. You can easily verify which category a particular Message Board falls into by accessing our Main Message Board page at http://forums.leoaffairs.com/ and seeing how many messages are in the "Posts" column. So, if you want a standard 120x90 Banner Ad on a Message Board with Average Traffic, the cost will be $100 per month. The same ad on a Message Board with Low Traffic will only be $50 per month (half as much) while the ad on a High Traffic Message Board will be $200 per month (twice as much). Yes, your ad will appear while users are viewing messages and posting. Here's our pricing:

Specialized Sections: These consist of advertising in the Attorneys & Legal Resources section and the Career Page. The Attorneys & Legal Resources section is available on the National Pages and the Community Pages. It consists of a text ad. The Career Page was created for agencies who want to advertise openings for employment. It is based on a fee of $100 per month / per position regardless of whether it is on our National Pages or Community Pages. So, if an agency was advertising positions for 20 Police Officers and 1 Crime Scene Technician, the cost would be $200 per month (Police Officer is position #1 and Crime Scene Tech is position #2).
